This baby is THICK and squishes down to approximately "50 per-cent" of its original thickness. Its made of a nice, soft metallic/graphite-ish material that squeezes into any imperfections on your pipe flange and exhaust port. It sealed up my rusty, bent up old exhaust perfectly. BUY IT!!
