These tires were a b*tch to put on! My buddy and I along with multiple flatheads wrestled these tires on my gf's maxi. But they are pretty hard and I imagine will dropkick some potential tube popping nails away. my 2 cents

Look, these are some of the best you can get. They're tough, sturdy, and practically run-flat. They're a tight fit on a maxi frame, and a very tight fit on the wheels. If you are having trouble, coat the inner ridge of the rubber (you know, the bead that goes on the rim?) with some dish soap, it'll make them easier to slide on and it'll dry in just a few minutes.

Ok, sure gazelles could survive the moped apocalypse, but at what cost? These things are never fun to put on (and can be even worse to take off, sorry multiple derbi rims), they are HEAVY, they don't offer much grip, they wear funny, etc.
That said, they are great for daily riding abuse. They can make it through a nail fight with good pressure and run flat. That said, they will go square on you if you don't turn enough then you get even less grip, so yea.

Great tires. Best stock replacement, I think.

I fit this on my maxi and it seems great. The tire is rock solid, almost run flat...
I had a BI+CH of a time getting this on the rim, really terrible, but if you manhandle it enough it does get on.
