Its not really a barrel either.
these things work, even if you're gonna cheap out and use bike cables they do the tricko. work on about every bike i've ever seen that has this style of brakes. magura tomos even some o the dominiononmino.

i believe these are called "Brake Barrels" from digging thru NOS moped part packages and labels. but call em what you want.

I cant believe you guys actually had these... Fit great in the Peugeot 102 sp controls. Just make sure they fit right with the cables you want to use.
