Are they pretty? Yes. So, I said yay! Then I put them on and they are nice and stiff. yay! A nice little upgrade. For the price, you can't argue. If you're putting this on a maxi, remember your kickstand wont lift your rear wheel as high. On mine, I still have enough clearance to start it on the stand- might be an issue if you are not on level ground. If so, man up and squeeze the starting lever while riding. while youre at it, replace your crusty old hardware with new black hex bolts for twice the racer points. seriously though.
